Work independently, initiate and/or lead marketing programs, initiatives, promotions, or research projects. Work closely with management in developing new products and in implementing new marketing approaches. Good working knowledge of the organization's products and the overall industry. Work fairly independently, typically on projects of moderate to complex projects. Takes initiative in communicating programs and resources and obtaining feedback from home office partners and field partners.

We are seeking a polished and experienced individual contributor marketing professional with extremely strong strategic marketing experience in the financial services industry to support the workplace retirement b2b audiences. Develops effective marketing strategies, writes content and executes projects, working closely with internal and external resources. Must be a self-starter and have strong collaboration skills. Ability to own a large scope project and operate independently.

This will include the following responsibilities:
Develops marketing strategies, roll-out plans and marketing materials to creatively promote workplace retirement products and services to plan sponsors.
Coordinates marketing efforts by planning and implementing marketing programs in order to meet identified current and future business needs.
Writes compelling copy backed by solid understanding of product positioning, audience and message strategy.
Understands a variety of marketing tactics and develops innovative marketing communication materials for a variety of media, including brochures, events, direct mailer, email blasts, websites, and PPT presentations.
Creates internal communications to help sales team understand and sell products.
Cultivate day-to day internal and partner relationships where you drive discussions for continual improvement of programs. Actively raise ideas for improving programs and be inspired to take risks and try new approaches.
Maintain a deep understanding of competitive landscape and sales channel nuances.
Project manager who maintains and communicates the status—including issues, deliverables and project progression—around a variety of project plans in support of current initiatives.
Provide Senior Marketing leadership and business partner with reporting metrics on all initiatives/programs/projects.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of marketing experience; 3-5 years of this experience should be in the form of strategic marketing, and a minimum of 3-5 years of this experience should have dealt with retirement marketing in an intermediary-sold environment.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles and formulation of marketing strategy and robust programs.
Strong program and project management skills are paramount to the success of this role.
Prior experience in relationship management preferred.
Ability to juggle, prioritize and balance goals, projects and personalities.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise briefs
