Python Developer needed for major Financial client in Montreal, QC.

Job Description:
Brokerage is looking for a hands-on software developer to join the firmwide developer tools and systems group. Group is responsible faor shaping the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Brokerage by implementing the tools, systems, and processes used by all developers across the globe for software development and deployment.
**We are looking for a candidate with hands-on development experience in Python.

Skills Required:
- At least five years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Git

Position Description:
*The candidate will be working with a global team of experts to extend the release automation and deployment capabilities of the Firm's SDLC platform.
This platform is used by thousands of developers, across a diverse set of programming languages, technology stacks, and platforms, and is continually evolved to stay current with the state of art in SDLC practices and tooling.
*In addition, the candidate will be called to participate in the development of a centralized Metrics collection application, to quantify, measure and analyze the firmwide adoption of the Agile & Continuous Delivery methodologies. As such we are building a solution to ingest data from disparate systems, using a distributed analytics engine to analyze and interpret the heterogeneous workflows used by each team in the Firm in an effort to promote the adoption of the Agile methodology.
*The candidate will be expected to exchange knowledge through active code reviews and contribute to both the architectural and software design of the project.

Skills Desired (Nice to have, not required):
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Highly technical and passionate about SDLC tooling and processes
- Familiar with the tools of the trade
- Experience working with multiple SCM systems, code review systems, build tools, test frameworks, code quality tools, CI systems, and IDEs.
