Required skills:
- Bachelor degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and being comfortable with the command line interface.
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash), application development (Python, Perl).
- Basic understanding of enterprise-level infrastructure: servers, load balancers, clustering, high availability, disaster recovery, networking, 3-tier architecture
- Understanding of how various software components involved in enterprise service delivery interact: web servers, application servers, databases, web services, mainframes, network attached storage, and so forth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Experience turning research ideas into actionable designs. Able to persuade stakeholders and champion effective techniques through product development.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with Splunk preferred
- Understanding and familiarity with log parsing
- 3+ years of big-data experience
- Experience working with large, unfiltered data sets
.- Working experience of regular expressions in data extraction from log files
.- Experience designing and implementing infrastructure monitoring tools
- Web UI development experience (AngularJS, JavaScript, AJAX)
- Experience working with cross-functional team to deploy new features and resolve issues as they arise
- Experience in Application Performance Management (APM) space
- Database experience with at least one of the following: MySQL, SQLite or MSSQL
- Experience with various authentication methods such as SPNEGO, Siteminder, Kerberos, LDAP
