Human Resources Manager (Part-Time)

Location: Woodstock, Illinois
This is a Part-Time Onsite position 1-2 days per week.
16 Hours per week.
They have flexibility but would say they would need to work Tuesday-Thursday's as their option (we do not need them on Monday's or Friday's).

HR SUPERVISOR

Performance Management
• Assisting managers in development of performance improvement plans, robust development plans, disciplinary write-ups
• Take part in employee/manager discussions about employee's performance.
• Recommending next steps to Managers and/or HR business partners and executing against final decision

Investigations
• Develop investigation plan including questions to be asked, people to be interviewed and documents/data to be reviewed
• Conducting investigation interviews, either in person or over the phone
• Assessing data gathered from interviews and other documents to determine what/if anything happened and if there is a policy violation
• Recommending next steps to HR, legal, compliance as needed
• Completing investigation write up, as needed

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a Generalist role including experience managing HR investigations and performance related issues.
• Experience in a Corporate HR Business Lead role, preferred but not required.
• Strong Human Resources aptitude and functional knowledge along with broad knowledge of HR policies and practices.
• Proven project management expertise and continuous improvement mindset.
• Must have strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation); ability to build trust at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity while maintaining integrity and customer focus.
