Managed Care Contract Analyst II

The Manager, Contracts is responsible for managing the entire contract process, partnering with key internal departments to develop, write, negotiate, and implement contracts for all commercial agreements. Major Accountabilities:
Evaluates contract proposals and provides support for the Commercial Operations contracting strategy.
Maintains an effective and accurate customer focus with respect to contracting.
Accountable for the development of contract proposals for strategic customer classes. Identifies potential issues and resolves routine problems and concerns. Partners with chargeback, rebate and collections associates to resolve contract related discrepancies and propose potential measures to prevent reoccurrence.
Coordinates the cross-functional efforts of Account Management, Finance, IT, Legal and Marketing to ensure that contracts comply with all Federal regulations.
Develops contract language in accordance with company policies.
Handles administration of contracts, including comprehensive review or creation from templates.
Implements company policies and procedures.
Participates/contributes to special projects, as needed.

3-5 years business experience.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical contracting and its market segments.
Experience in commerical, retail, and institutional contracting.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficiency with MS Office applications including advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
Ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional team atmosphere.
