Retail Call Center - Mid-level/Sr Tester resource through Client Staffing Augmentation.
- Need to be able to teach testing and do the testing.
- Need to be able to pull data for scripts and run complicated scripts - out of Quality Center/ALM.
- Key points: having testing experience and clear communication skills and strong follow up skills.

• Tester High:
This resource is expected to be an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in application testing. This resource must be able to perform estimation efforts on highly complex projects and tracking the progress of these projects; lead and conduct a wide range of quality-control tests and analysis of script writing, test plan creation, and script execution to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements- including the highest level of problem solving where the analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors; able to lead members in drafting and revising test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flows; be able to execute test scripts when appropriate according to application requirements documentation; log defects, identify course of action and perform secondary level for root cause analysis and will make change recommendations; document, evaluate, and research test results; lead others in creation of test data to thoroughly test positive and negative program logic; identify, recommend and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies; analyze requirements and design aspects of projects, interface with client leads and other development organizations. Quality sampling of scripts (writing and execution) are to be conducted on Entry and Mid-level Testers on a monthly basis, and feedback provided to the Entry and Mid-level testers. This resource is expected to have experience with software development life cycle of applications and have experience managing resources and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
a. Leadership responsibilities for the creation and execution of detailed test plans, script writing exercises and script execution to verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements
b. Execution of scripts include progress reporting, defect tracking, and risk assessments
c. Working across multiple cross-functional teams to roll-up all unit and integration tests to execute full UAT testing project and regression testing, end-to-end testing, and production validation.
d. Shift management for projects involving shifts and also mentoring of Testers and Sr. Testers.
e. People and Project management skills
f. Proficient in written and verbal English communication skills with team and partners
g. Understand the full project lifecycle with concentration around testing.
h. High technical aptitude. Must be proficient in the following MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point, as well as familiarity with MS Project, MS Access, Visio, Client QC/ALM, and Client QTP/UFT (for execution of automated scripts)
