Mobile Maintenance Truck (MMT) Driver/Technician

Requirements :
Overview: Approximately 28% of the Wireline Fleet (@6200 vehicles) are located in Telecommunication facilities that have no vehicle maintenance capability. As such, the candidate for this position will be responsible for the care, control and custody of a fully equipped Telecommunication Mobile Maintenance Truck (MMT), will travel to truck parking locations within their region, and perform light maintenance tasks as assigned on Telecommunication owned vehicles, as follows:

Engine oil, filter changes on Light and Medium duty vehicles. (Including cars, light trucks and vans, as well as medium duty vehicles such as Ariel devices).
Vehicle punch list completion, as well as overall inspection.
Identification and replacement of normal wear items, such as Wiper Blades, Headlight Capsules, Mini Bulbs (both LED and incandescent), Air and Fuel Filters, etc.
A basic understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic systems is necessary, training will be provided.
An intermediate level of understanding, and the ability to diagnose and repair other vehicle systems such as electrical, braking, steering, engine performance, tires, is required.

Additional Description:
Work will be dispatched from the same Telecommunication location daily
Expected hours worked are 3-11pm, Monday through Friday.
This is an outdoor position. Work in all weather conditions, such as rain, snow and heat should be expected.

Additional Requirements:
ASE certification is a plus, but not necessary to be considered for this position.
Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL, Class B) with a clean record for the past 3 years.
A current Medical Card
Demonstrable ability to safely operate a class 4 vehicle.
3-5 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
Must be familiar with OSHA/ANSI Ariel Lift Inspection and Operation techniques
