Summary:
Analyze and develop specifications for the enhancement, maintenance and problem solving for the most complex applications or operating system (s). Provide in-depth consulting to IT management and staff at the highest technical level in the identification and resolution of an application or the overall operating system(s) problems or difficulties. Analyze existing product and recommends modifications which will enhance operating capacity and meet business requirements. Provide guidance and assistance to the staff in the installation and testing of new operating system releases and in fine-tuning of existing systems.

Basic Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of development experience with webMethods
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of databases, preferably Teradata and Sybase
  • Proven experience working on and delivering large-scale, Enterprise Application Integrations, B2B Integrations and SOA/web services Integrations
  • Experience with DataPower Integration with webMethods
  • Experience with working collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams
  • For this position, candidates must be authorized to work in the Client States without requiring visa sponsorship

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of Insurance Products and Operations
  • Participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – Initiate, Business Requirements, Analysis & Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Post-Implementation
  • Key contributor to design and coding patterns, leveraging experience and industry standards and best practices
  • Lead and collaborate on design sessions
  • Create design specifications
  • Develop re-usable code
  • Create unit test plans
  • Perform design and code reviews
  • Work within best practices, standards & guidelines established by Financial
  • Mentor others regarding best practices and leading industry principles
  • Call center development experience preferred
