Client is the global leader in travel management and serves large and middle market companies. A core element of our business is our relationships with partner suppliers including airlines, hotels, and car/ rail providers, since these partners deliver on the travel experience for our clients and drive the Client business model. With the evolution of the shared economy and ongoing innovation in the travel space, the dynamics of these relationships and importance of client value continue to evolve.

This contractor role will report into the Senior Manager of Content Strategy & Development and will be focused on supporting the Global Supplier and Hotel Marketing Growth Strategy. Success in this role will be achieved by executing the coordinated marketing and digital plan, creating quality content, and measuring and reporting on results that can drive an increase in transactions and revenue across the Client business. This role partners closely with several internal teams including Global Supplier Relations, Global Sales Enablement, Operations, Commercial Sales & Client Management, and Marketing. There is potential for this role to turn into a permanent full-time opportunity at the end of the contract.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
  • Write and manage high-end digital and print sales and marketing collateral for Client's hotel and supplier initiatives including, but not limited to: factsheets, slides, emails, web content, sales presentations, custom bids, videos, scripts, RFP answers, interactive tools, banner ads, and infographicsEnhance existing value propositions for hotel and supplier programs as new benefits launch
  • Identify and implement strategic customization needs by persona/end user (traveler, travel manager, decision maker)
  • Identify the best medium and packaging to present our message to set us apart from our competition (e.g., email, video, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
  • Produce quality content that is on brand, compliance approved, and has a consistent voice and client-focused message
  • Determine global use of assets and manage translating assets into required languages
  • Distribute new assets internally to drive awareness and usage
  • Partner with internal and external key stakeholders to execute co-branded marketing campaigns
  • Write, pilot, and measure email marketing campaigns and report on learnings and next steps
  • Support the Global Supplier Relationship (GSR) team with supplier-facing content to support negotiations and new supplier relationship building
  • Effectively manage initiatives and prioritize to ensure focus on the operational strategy and plan
  • Manage, monitor, and report on performance of all campaigns and initiatives
  • Complete ad hoc requests and produce content for the broader content team as needed
Required skills and experience:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience including content creation and marketing, email campaigns, digital advertising, and co-branded partnerships preferably in a B2B or B2B2C business
  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Ability to write across various styles of collateral (email, PowerPoint slides, scripts, factsheets, etc.)
  • Ability to fully absorb and consistently apply brand and visual identity regulations across all work
  • Customer mindset with the ability to translate supplier value into multiple value messages (travel manager, decision maker, traveler)
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently within deadlines
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor while working across the organization and global cultures
  • Design and/or creative skills with experience in developing sales assets a plus (windows based)
  • Adobe Creative Design Suite skills a plus
  • PowerPoint skills a plus
  • HTML, CSS, and/or Eloqua capabilities a plus
  • Understanding of the travel and hospitality industry preferred
