Summary


The Content Marketing Director will be responsible for the development and execution of a content strategy, aligned to our go-to-market strategy, and be an integral part of Digital Transformation, across all of lines of business. The successful candidate will define and implement an authentic and differentiated content strategy, and also be responsible for corporate communications, including PR, and the development of the brand.

The successful candidate, reporting into the Head of Marketing, will work closely with senior leadership on core messaging and corporate communications and create a diverse range of content for our target markets and buyers worldwide. The content will need to support inbound and outbound marketing, corporate communications, social media, and sales enablement. Leading PR to define messages, audiences, and the requisite media to help build the brand is integral to the role. Analytics needs to be leveraged to determine what is effectively working to create brand and demand.


Ideal candidates will have a proven, successful track record in content marketing and strategic communications across multiple brands on a global basis. Strong marketing, communications, and writing skills are critical. An ability to define an editorial vision, and manage its execution are equally critical., The Content Marketing Director has the drive and determination to manage multiple initiatives, globally, in a fast-paced, results-driven environment; create and execute initiatives on time; and display the necessary innovation and creativity in their discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Design content marketing strategies in a targeted and data-driven way while setting both short-term and long-term goals

  • Work independently, and with the Head of Marketing and leadership team, to develop communications strategies in support of marketing goals for brand and demand

  • Develop, implement and manage the overall editorial calendar and associated processes with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective communication strategy across all target markets

  • Ensure the delivery and execution of the content calendar and produce high-quality, shareable, and unique content across a variety of channels, including sales, and suitable for global use.

  • Create and disseminate derivative content regularly, adjusting approach based on ROI and other analytics

  • Edit, proofread and improve content when needed

  • Leverage customer segmentation and needs analysis as key inputs into the communication strategy and the development of key themes targeting priority audiences and partners

  • Increase audience and engagement with our customers across platform and content type

  • Build and track benchmarks for measuring success and ROI. Implement new tools and processes for effective creation and measurement of content

  • Leverage customer feedback to generate ideas that results in higher quality, targeted content and increased customer engagement

  • Report weekly and quarterly on content performance and results


Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a Content Marketing Manager or Corporate Communications role, including PR experience

  • Demonstrated ability to define and deliver on KPIs in support of marketing goal achievement

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience and segment preferences

  • Understanding of modern B2B marketing and the marketing analytics that support it

  • Expertise working with social media platforms, leveraging the latest best practices

  • Proven experience creating content-driven go-to-market strategies

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external teams

  • A self-starter, yet collaborative enough to harness great ideas and deliver on content and marketing results

  • Strong business acumen and executive presence

  • Ability to work productively in a cross-functional as well as a small team environment

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
