The TravelBox Product is used to book, manage, edit, and assist with Guest Reservations, Ticket and Package sales. The TravelBox suite of projects have high technical complexity and integrations, high visibility and need to meet tight timelines.

Job Purpose
Position is accountable for delivery of large-scale programs that span multiple Technology, Business, Operations and vendor project teams using scaled Agile. This position is responsible for working with a wide stakeholder team to deliver large cross site solutions in a competitive, fast paced, collaborative, and multi-system environment.
Program managers at the company must be able to see, articulate and build the big picture while still focusing on meeting critical and often tight delivery commitments.

Position will report directly to a Technology Director.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to gain agreement on scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and budget.
  • Create and will be responsible for a program level dashboard, TBX health dashboard
  • Understand the dependencies, relationship management with CodeGen & escalations across programs
  • Provide consistent communication with CodeGen and programs
  • Create executive decks/presentations for Operating committee and steering committees.
  • Lead change and communication across teams as we evolve the process and way of working with CodeGen to increase our throughput, predictability and quality.
  • Must thrive on change, working in gray environments and translating the gray into black and white.
  • Manage approved program/project through the lifecycle, including change requests, issues management, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders and dependent projects to develop detailed program schedule or agile release plans.
  • Establish and coordinate an integrated master program schedule and plans and/or iteration planning for agile projects.
  • Manage changes against program schedules, project schedules, scope and cost, as well as lead the assessment of impact on the larger portfolio of projects.
  • Support organizational change management and the implementation of new company process improvement initiatives.
  • Successfully manage project dependencies and constraints across multiple active projects.
  • Develop resource plans, coordinating/on-boarding of project resources, development and execution of communication plans, defining and executing risk management plans.
  • Collaborate and partner with senior leadership and business partners to create strategic vision and program roadmaps.
  • Supports executive decision making, reports program and implementation status, identifies skills gaps and initiative activities to close the gaps.
Mentor and led multiple project managers on approved project management methodology and techniques.

Required Technical Program Management
  • Lead/Principal level Technology Program manager with 10 years+ experience
  • Advanced project management experience managing enterprise level initiatives that impact Technology, Business and Operations teams etc., managing scope, schedule, budgets, issues, risks, change, program level dependencies etc.
  • Minimum 5+ years specifically managing mid to large complex technology projects and programs using Agile methods/frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, XP.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience leading projects using Scaled Agile.
  • Proven experience with dependency management and cross team coordination of multiple SCRUM teams using Agile Ceremony Facilitation.
  • Proven experience championing best agile practices with teams to increase organizational agility.
  • Ability to understand and articulate very technology requirements and milestones.
  • Vendor Mgt: Proven experience implementing end-to-end vendor-based technology in-house and COTS solutions including hardware, software etc.
  • Budget: Experience in managing Individual project budgets size: in the tens of millions
  • Proven experience managing an enterprise level technology program with team dispersed geographically
  • Proven experience leading teams in a large matrix organization
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills which includes the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in both verbal & written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic matrix organization
  • Ability to work effectively in matrix organization and skilled in: teamwork and partnering; analytic/systematic thinking; self-starting.
  • Excellent relationship builder

  • Demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple software development lifecycle methodologies (focused on Agile, Lean).
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with influencing, training and supporting Senior Leadership and above with their role in their teams' Agile Transformation
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and train teams and individuals to use new processes and adapt

Required Education, Certification and Tools
  • Certifications: Agile Certifications i.e. CSM; ACP; CPO; SAFe; LeSS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or a related field; 2 years additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Tools: Proficiency with Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools
  • Tools: Solid working knowledge of VersionOne/JIRA agile tools
  • Tools: Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project etc.
