The Program Management team works to align project scope and critical delivery milestones across Payment Services cross functional and enterprise wide initiatives. This team supports client facing teams, technology initiatives and emerging partners across multiple spectrums.
Responsibilities include assisting in the management of all aspects of an assigned Payment Services program or programs including Operations, Marketing, Acceptance, Legal, Pricing, Customer Support and Business Technology. • Lead teams through project initiation, requirements gathering, systems design, testing, and implementation in an Agile and/or waterfall framework. • Schedule and lead meetings and work group sessions to initiate and track work progress. • Work collaboratively with technology, product, and business partners across the organization to improve communication, team dynamics, and development processes. • Facilitate the prioritization and decomposition of requests prior to and in stakeholder meetings. • Facilitate huddles, meetings and other ceremonies. • Serve as liaison between project team members. • Track and report progress and forecast final targets including tracking all changes in project parameters, documenting all obstacles and delays detailing any workarounds, and obtaining approvals to these changes from key stakeholders. • Hold team members, and functional areas accountable for planning and execution of functional deliverables. • Identify and manage risks. • Resolve conflicts, negotiate project terms, assess impact of changes, and define remediation actions. • Act as the escalation point to ensure participation and implement improvements into the relevant processes. • Work with teams and individuals on their interactions with each other to improve communication and ensure alignment. • Demonstrate solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. • Interact with internal and external business partners and strategic vendors. • Support the Program Manager in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and implementing an effective system of project governance. • Facilitate communication to all stakeholders, management and oversight committees as appropriate. • Serve as Gatekeeper for objectives and track commitments. • Manage operational readiness and launch of strategic initiatives. This includes partnering with process owners, and other stakeholders and ensure seamless implementation. • Manage Post production activities by partnering with Business and Technology. • Coordinate business validation during UAT, Regression as needed. • Determine project goals, progress against goals, and results. • Capture and manage project requirements and scope. • Engage teams to acquire resources and solicit project support. • Ensure project, process, and regulatory compliance. • Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. • Create the business implementation plans and ensure the activities in the plans are completed. • Create PDP documentation and adhere to regulatory and change management processes.
