Typical Duties Include: • Understand, monitor, and operate within process safety operational guidelines and report safety incidents • Complete safety training and wear proper personal protective equipment as required • Work with a safe, Zero Incident Mindset • Able to communicate effectively and work from both verbal and written instruction, standard operating procedures, pick tickets and checklists • Perform housekeeping to maintain production and operations in neat and orderly condition • Contribute to the success of plant targets & objectives through participation in activities to further advance safety, quality, cost, productivity and morale throughout the site • Become proficient at operating production equipment with minimal supervision • Operate mobile equipment, as required, after appropriate instruction • Ability to wear a respirator mask, if required • Understand and follow all procedures (i.e., Safe Work Permit, Lock Out Tag Out, Line Break, PPE, and Hot Work) • Alignment of these tasks and activities will be dependent upon team alignment of duties, as well as product volume and schedule mix, which may affect specific tasks required on any given day • Lift 55 lbs. intermittently (Heavier parts are lifted using other methods) • Have a safety mindset • Able to understand and respond to environmental and personnel hazards promptly • Able to safely operate, maintain, perform minor repairs and make proper adjustments on associated equipment in work areas • Able to show proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving • Able to work safely in indoor/outdoor work areas and in noisy, dimly lit, awkward, high areas, and in local weather conditions • Able to work from ladders, elevated places when required. Able to walk/work on uneven surfaces • Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You... Basic qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Forklift experience Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience working in a Chemical, Paper, or Petro-Chemical environment (or similar role)
