This requisition is for a Software Engineering Manager position within the Retail Petroleum and Convenience Retailing (PCR) organization. Responsibilities include managing the Optic solution team which is responsible for testing and delivering the Optic solution to the market.

The PCR organization operates using Agile Scrum and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for which the system team plays a critical role in owning the overall product/system and ensuring that features are implemented correctly and released on demand to the business.


Provide full managerial responsibility for global team consisting of software business analysts, testers, solution architects, and automation developers.
Drive and deliver to R&D roadmap commitments.
Provide oversight and ensure high quality of all deliverables.
Drive the prioritization, risk analysis, and mitigation plans required to resolve product risks and issues.
Drive software best practices and methodologies including Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Provide financial management and ensure adherence to solution budget.
Communicate across all levels of the organization including Solution Management, Product Management, Professional Services, and Sales.
Communicate with customers as needed to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
Participate and present in various meeting formats including monthly program and operational reviews.
Provide mentoring and career development to team members.

Bachelor's degree (or Master's degree) in Computer Science or related technical discipline
10+ years of prior experience in a software development capacity as a software developer, tester, or business analyst
Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Experience in software development lifecycle management
Solid knowledge of software development best practices
Experience leading and/or working with an offshore development team
