We are looking for talented Performance Test Engineer to join our expanding Solution Integration & Test Center of Excellence (SIT CoE). The Performance Test Engineer is an enabler of Performance Testing and best-in-class Non-Functional test practices in an Agile environment across the Software Solutions organization. Client Software Solutions recently formed this team to "raise the bar” in Solution Testing, and ensure that our customers receive the best solutions possible. We are looking for experienced and very talented individuals to help define and create a world class SIT team.

Your responsibilities will include definition of Test Infrastructure required for Non-Functional Testing, automation and execution non-functional test scripts in a Continuous Delivery Pipeline capable of testing some of the complex software solutions developed by Client to. Team members could write automation test scripts, so knowledge of automation test practices and tools is mandatory. This individual will develop, execute and maintain non-functional automation suites, scripts and tools. This role will have solid background in non-functional testing in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Define and develop solution-based non-functional test strategy across solution industries
  • Define, develop and own the best in class enterprise solution testing toolset and practices
  • Collaborate with existing testing teams to adopt SIT CoE recommended tools and practices
  • Focus on solutions that will serve each of our major industries – Financial Services, Retail, and Hospitality
  • Assess the maturity of these complex solutions to refine or develop non-functional test strategies across hardware and software components
  • Continue to expand testing automation within Client's Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) environments
  • Collaborate with solution engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and QA engineers
  • Mentor, teach, and coach teams across organizations in solutions best-in-class practices in non-functional testing
  • Across the hardware and software organizations, assess and implement best practices for solution integration and test to result in higher quality releases
  • Work within the SAFe methodology to implement and / or refine solution integration and test best practices
  • Continuously evaluate new tools and processes to maintain Client's leading position in the solution testing space.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with major in software engineering. Any performance testing certification like ASTQB is highly desirable
  • 10+ years of experience/knowledge in testing enterprise solutions. Of the 10+ years, a minimum of 4 continuous years in performance testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization on large scale enterprise systems
  • A real problem solver who can work with software engineers, architects and product management to understand the performance expectations at the solution level
  • Can explain the performance testing process, rationale and test results to stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of Continuous Testing processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to convert abstract performance level requirements given by product management/customers into actionable performance attributes
  • Expert and hands-on experience of automating load testing using Client Performance Center or Load Runner, JMeter or any other tool
  • Hands on experience in monitoring the solution performance post production using tools like Dynatrace or Client Diagnostic
  • Hands-on experience in API testing and can locate the bottlenecks in performance
  • Hands-on experience of 4+ continuous years in non-functional testing to ensure solutions meets acceptable scalability, reliability and capacity requirements
  • Good understanding Software architecture to be able to relate to solution performance and make executable recommendations for performance enhancements
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in analyzing throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization using tools
  • Proven Expertise in defining Performance test strategy and test plans and integrate them with solution test strategy and test plans.
  • Very good understanding DevOPs principles and their relation to performance engineering
  • Responsible for Identifying, analyzing and mitigating non-functional issues and resultant risks of software solutions.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the team on performance bottlenecks that can result in problems post deployment
  • Ability to work well with culturally diverse teams
