Mid Level Technical Business Analyst

The analyst will be mainly working on data analysis and data normalizations based on the reporting requirements. He/she should be detail oriented and responsible. We are looking for someone who can take action and being flexible and responsible upon ad-hoc requirements. The position is responsible for working closely with business partners (Business Users, Tech team, etc.) to deliver solutions that meet business needs around analytics and metrics reporting.

Skills & Requirements:
• Core Business Analysis Skills: basic knowledge of recruiting process and understand what kind of data is available for recruiting.
• General Management Skills: skills in self-management, appropriate project management skills, and the soft skills for engaging with stakeholders. Listening, communication, and scope management are placeholders.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL, SAP – Business Objects, Oracle Database, Avature, SharePoint and MicroStrategy. Proficient in MS Office with advance Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, VBA)
• Experience and Education: Education in analytics, project management, big data tools; SQL; Computer Science; Engineering
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
• Experience in communicating/translating requirements to both technical and non-technical teams
• Human Resources and/or Campus Recruiting experience is a plus
• 3-5 year of Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience
• Knowledge of data mapping and normalization
• Root cause Analysis and analytical skills
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
• Understanding of basic SQL queries
• Microsoft Office/Suite proficient
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:
• Communicate Business Requirements to Technical Teams
• Provide logic for metrics
• Provide mapping/normalization details
• Validate data/systems
• Troubleshoot data discrepancy and missing data issues
• Create Test cases for UAT
• Organize daily 'Catch-up' meeting with Tech Teams
• Track system/data issues Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating variety of internal and external data and conducting end user interviews for Campus Recruiting and Resume Scanning Dashboards
• Create documentation of processes and business requirements, and work with stakeholders on prioritization
• Assist in quality control and project management
• Define reporting and alerting requirements
• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to team
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, Client issues and deliver better value to the customer
• Execute against Project Plan Lead and guide the work of technical staff in Tampa and Mumbai
• Monitor progress to assure deadlines and standards are met
• Support applications development by evaluating, testing and recommending system requirements
• Run and deliver Program results to HR personnel
• Check accuracy of data uploads in databases (DEV, UAT & PRD)
