ADMIN OFCR 2 - Security Services Analyst

Under the direction of Security Services Administration, this position will be responsible for managing the general operations of the Health Security Services Department. The position will also be required to act as liaison with numerous other Health and Campus departments including but not limited to the Lock Shop, facilities, Emergency management, Safety, Telecomm, and UCPD. Responsibilites include long and short range strategic planning for Secuirty Services, information anaylitics and dashboard development; responisble for the deparment procurmaent process; maintaining webpage content, assist the workplace violence prevention program manager in collection and reporting of information for WVVP related incident reports, assisit operations group and contract manager with staff scheduling, hiring and staff HR compliance. This postion will also help manage Security Service policies and procedures, monitor and track taskforce and sub-committee structures/calenders.

Key Responsibilities
 
15% yes Develop department supply par levels (protective wear, communications, IT, daily operational supplies…etc.) and provide support for procurment of those supplies.
15% yes Gathers and analyzes financial and other resource data; prepares reports or analyses of operational activities, evaluates current and proposed services, and works with security administration on small projectsetc.
15% yes Maintains policies and procedures as well as assesses and recommends changes to maintain compliance with federal and state requirements and internal policies.
10% yes Functions as a resource for monitoring of employee compliance (HR/OCC Health/Learning Center) Preparation of compliance reminders to Supervisory group..
10% yes Functions as a resource and assisits operations group and contract manager with staff scheduling.
10% yes Participates in the development and revision of standard operating procedures and guidelines.
10% yes Provides guidance to supervisors and managers in developing job descriptions, hiring staff, facilitating benefits communications, and providing guidance on compensation programs, personnel policies, and procedures.
5% yes Functions as a resource for monitoring and recording, as necessary, attendance log information to ensure attendance policy is being adhered to and that supervisors are entering the data as required.

  • integrating Workplace Violence program in Security Services department (setup, data gathering, workflow processes - strong computer skill needed: work, excel, outlook, Vizio, Smartsheets, etc)
