Incident Analyst

The primary purpose of the Incident Analyst role is to ensure all impacting incidents are managed effectively and professionally, resulting in the restoration of normal service quickly, efficiently and with minimal impact to our internal and external customers. Analyst must have experience driving technical support teams to recover services and be able to communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. The position includes extensive interaction with internal customers in senior or executive management positions.The Incident Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the Incident Management process is followed by all BT teams for every incident. Conducting analysis and reporting for incidents generated by all BT departments will be required. Incumbents must have broad technology understanding across Mainframe, Midrange, Distributed Systems, and Networks.


Incident management experience needed. Understanding across Mainframe, Midrange, Distributed Systems, OR Networks· ITIL best practices a plus
