Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
- Design smart drivers and LED solutions to resolve various customer needs for various
signaling and lighting applications.
- Establish and manage the test plans to validate design functionality, compliance to
specifications (EMI, temperature, vibration, etc.) and reliability.
- Use FastWorks and NPI processes to innovate new lighting products from VOC to MVP
to design, qualification and production.
- Prepare and present design reviews with clear documentation to support functionality
of the design and compliance to specifications
- Interact with global teams within the client, at vendors and customers to design new LED
systems with state of the art performance.
- Work in multiple development projects and meet established deadlines
- Use clear thinking to translate functional specifications into design requirements
- Leverage external focus to improve skills in the face of rapidly evolving technology

Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical/electronics engineering, or a combination of
equivalent education and strong experience in power supply design.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Workign knowledge of ORCAD, PSPICE, MathCAD, and PTC Windchill.
PCB layout skills to optimize power density, thermal, and EMC performance.
Ability to lead multiple electrical driver programs simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Inclusive individual who can influence and gain consensus in cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Desired Characteristics
- Extensive knowledge in power electronics design.
- Relevant experience in a high tech innovative environment
- Solid experience in circuit design, digital electronics, micro-controller design,
and wireless experience
