Position Summary:
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Company with roles in Consolidations, Shared Services, External Reporting, Revenue Recognition, Accounting Policies, or Financial Architecture. Looking for energetic, team player with a strong background gained in corporate accounting role and/or public accounting.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Review complex and unusual transactions and prepare U.S. GAAP technical accounting position papers and work with external auditors through the review process
• Complete special projects and prepare analyses for senior management requiring technical accounting research and analysis of financial information as requested
• Provide proactive, expert consultation and technical support on events and transactions by identifying and addressing accounting policy and reporting issues
• Develop and maintain corporate financial and operational policies to support effective internal and business control environments and ensure compliance with US GAAP; provide expertise in recommending enhancements and additions to the policies
• Work with accounting and finance colleagues within the Company to manage the implementation of key accounting policies (e.g. leases)
• Assist in providing corporate oversight, guidance and training across business functions and business units
• Make appropriate decisions and collaborate as a team with minimal level of supervision; perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Assist and lead other team members in periodic responsibilities
• Assist in performing due diligence for acquisitions and other strategic transactions as needed

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA
• 6-8 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting environment
• Excellent understanding of US GAAP with emphasis on the ability to apply relevant guidance, including complex and high judgmental topics
• Must be able to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management
