Global Financial Firm located in New York, NY has an immediate contract for an experienced Change Manager 

Responsibilities:
The  Change Manager will be based in New York and will be empowered to drive project(s) / deliverables under the CIB Client Onboarding Transformation Program.  Change Manager will be responsible for carrying out (but not limited to) the following:
  • Manage and spearhead the assigned project(s) / deliverables to completion
  • Apply strategic thinking and content expertise to identify blocking issues
  • Stimulate creative problem solving ("outside of the box”) to make change proposals to improve client experience and process efficiency, while controlling the associated risks
  • Work closely with all functions – Front Office, Operations, Compliance, while managing situations of conflict and constraints to ensure the success of the project(s)
  • Secure the project governance including the organization of meetings/workshops, progress tracking, formalization/distribution of minutes, update of project cards, etc
  • Ensure clear communication of goals, budget, risks, efforts involved as well as the performance of project progress against strategic goals
 
Qualifications
The candidate will have a successful track record within the financial services sector, preferably with experience of working either as a consultant, project manager or business analyst. The candidate will have delivered value on a number of assignments, working independently or in a team:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • BA or higher degree in Finance, Business Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
  • 5 + years of experience in either Financial Services Project Management or Management Consulting
  • Strong analysis/problem-solving skills and an ability to quickly gain an in depth understanding of complex processes and systems
  • Desire to take ownership of objectives and drive results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to report clear and concise status updates to management and stakeholders
  • Ability to create impactful presentations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Positive, energetic, flexible and self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA is a plus
  • PMP certification is a plus
