Devops - Security Infrastructure

*12+ month contract*
*Must be onsite-NO Remote*

Position Description
This is a great opportunity for an innovative software developer who wants to develop code to maximize efficiency of various incident/event response, governance, research and infrastructure operations teams within the IT Security department.

The Enterprise Security Products (ESP) team is - amongst other things - responsible for developing and engineering the firm's core security controls. The technology and solution stack spans all firm employees as well as external clients of the Institutional Security and Wealth Management Businesses. It consists of home-grown software, 3rd party software, open source products and auxiliary services and solutions.

The successful candidate will work within ESP Security Tooling team.

We are looking for a fungible, enthusiastic technologist with excellent communication skills and experience in solving operational challenges via standardization and automation by developing and integrating tools.

Main responsibilities
• Design, build and handover solutions that enhance and facilitate day-to-day operations carried out by our L1/L2/L3 Teams
• Constantly be on the lookout for new technologies popping up in technology and see how they can benefit our group
• Find ways to standardize and automate everything you come across
• Provide engineering/devops support for a number of vendor and internally developed technologies

Skills Required

• At least 2+ years' experience as a developer
• Expertise in 1+ of each category:
o Python, Perl, C#, C++, Java
o Powershell, Shell
o JS

• Linux (RHEL preferred) and Windows: usage and administration

Experience with 1+ of the following technologies in each category:
• Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Saltstack
• Kubernetes/Swarm
• Docker

• Experience in Git, Jira, and Jenkins

Skills Desired
• At least 3+ years' Operational and/or Engineering experience in an enterprise environment
• Workflow analysis and automation
• Splunk
• Experience with containers and related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm
• Technology security experience
