The client Institutional Asset Management organization is seeking an individual to support a Self Service reporting environment. This project will require working with the latest or next-to-latest release of Oracle's OBI Suite with usage through all stages of implementation (design, development, testing and deployment). The candidate will have/develop working knowledge of the selected tool and how it interacts with other applications.
Additionally, this person MUST have experience with basic data warehousing, SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions and Business Intelligence concepts. Also must have experience and understanding of BI data modeling and designs, ETL activities, complexities and tools, task estimation and project management, and database design and performance issues.
The candidate must have worked on several data warehouse or business intelligence projects and gained experience in multiple roles. Ideally, this person should have experience with specific industry solutions:
IT Asset Management
Finance & Billing
Marketing & Performance
Product & Client Management
Primary Responsibilities
Experience in designing and implementing BI Publisher Solutions in a variety of different formats
Ability to experiment and think outside the box for high-quality solutions to complex business requests
Comfort in establishing and maintaining relationships with business and technology partners
Familiarity with other business intelligence solutions a plus (i.e. Tableau, Business Objects, etc.)
Perform complex data analysis in support of effective business decisions
Strong working experience with OBI 12c upgrade highly desired
Develop and support the metadata layer required for self-service reporting
Work with multiple business units to design infrastructure needed
Develop best practices document to be shared with developers
