Description
The position will play a critical role supporting overall event logistics and execution for global event marketing tactics including, but not limited to, tradeshows (both large and small scale), proprietary events, and ecosystem partner engagements inside a large company with a fast-paced start-up environment.

Primary Responsibilities
• Event Project Planning and Execution
 Assist with creation and maintenance of project plans for each event within CVENT
 Track progress, communicate status updates, and escalate issues/needs for adjustments with Manger, Global Event Marketing
 Assist with agenda development for recurring planning team meetings
 Participate on weekly planning calls with various stakeholders across the organization to provide logistical updates
 Follow-up on assigned action items resulting from weekly planning calls
• Event management
 Set up event page and registration using CVENT
 Assist with the collection of content for pre-show email campaigns
 Collect content for onsite delivery: product demos, electronic assets, speaking session needs, etc.
 Help Manage budgets and process vendor payments
 On-Site event attendance where required
 Assist with the collection of post-event feedback and data to optimize future events
• Event Logistics
 Monitor event request submissions via CVENT
 Monitor event registration progress in CVENT and provide weekly updates during planning calls
 Maintain rooming and staffing lists as required
 Assist with the ordering and arrangement of event services based on event needs/specifications, e.g. food and beverage, audio visual equipment, giveaway items, meeting room set-up, etc.
 Produce event badges utilizing CVENT and/or MS Word Mail Merge
 Work with executive administrative staff to manage travel and transportation logistics as required for Executive Staff and Event Speakers

Qualifications
• BS or BA required and/3+ years of direct corporate event planning/marketing experience
• Familiarity with CVENT Event Management Software
• Strong and proven project management, organizational, and time-management skills
• Can learn quickly and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding Microsoft Office skills- Specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on multiple, and at times competing, project deliverables
• A results-oriented approach with ability to anticipate roadblocks, seek creative alternatives, solve problems and escalate issues appropriately
• Strong team player with ability to build relationships and collaborate positively across multiple levels
• Resourcefulness to seek out and independently propose ideas
• Comfortable working remotely and within a collaborative office environment
• Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time
