A Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC has an immediate contract opportunity for a Product Owner/Business Analyst.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Bank is seeking an Agile Product Owner/ Business Analyst to support the digital strategy and execution of initiatives and enhancements related to Institutional Digital Store supporting retirement plan sponsors and intermediaries. The individual will work closely with the Digital Product Manager, Business Sponsor, key stakeholders and agile scrum team to ensure the vision and goals of initiatives are met. This individual will be required to develop and maintain technical expertise in order to understand and document business requirements/user stories in order to provide daily direction, prioritization and testing for the scrum team. In addition, this individual will help to ensure adherence to required digital standards, portfolio and program routines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES:
•Represent the business: partner with the initiative sponsor to understand vision and goals and translate these requirements into user stories.
•Define digital metrics in support of sponsor's goals and stated outcomes.
•Plan delivery, scheduling and prioritization of deliverables and track risks and issues in collaboration with scrum team and greater institutional digital store.
•Sponsor initiative for required portfolio and program management routines.
•Own requirements/user stories and related acceptance criteria. Lead regular story grooming sessions with the team to refine and prioritize the backlog.
•Incorporate Voice of the Customer (VOC - client and internal user feedback) during the development and prioritization of requirements and use stories.
•Coordinate reviews and demonstrations with stakeholders including sprint reviews. Gathering required approvals.
•Work with Usability testing lead to prioritize functionality to be tested. Help develop test script. Add stories to backlog – and prioritize – based on usability feedback.
•Partner with Technology to translate user stories into functional stories and tasks.
•Coordinate reviews with legal, compliance and risk and gather specific approvals.
•Review and approve QA stories. Participate in end user testing and coordinate testing by business users as needed. Approve final test results.
•Partner with Marketing/Copywriter to define copy requirements.
•Ensure client-ready prototype for sales and client demonstrations.
•Ensure adherence to and maintenance of the Institutional Digital Playbook
•Creates appropriate initiative documentation including milestones balancing stakeholder needs and effectively negotiating tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget across multiple initiative owners.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills:
•4+ years of financial industry experience
•2+ years of experience with Agile methodology preferably as Scrum Product Owner
•2+ years of experience working within Digital Technology in a Financial Services firm

Desired Technical Skills:
•Sales Operations Experience
•Prior use of JIRA and CONFLUENCE tools
•Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework
•Experience driving business initiatives by focusing on customer metrics, analytics and insight
•Experience with retirement plan products', record-keeping services and process improvements
•Experience working across multiple functions / businesses in a matrix environment that includes but is not limited to Product, Marketing, Design, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Relationship Management, Portfolio Management Office.
•Strong communication and presentation skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•Ability to travel 10-15% of time
