POSITION PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for assisting the Revenue Accounting Automation team with assessing impacts for Internal and External projects, understanding business needs, and writing user stories to effectively communicate the business needs. This role requires technical aptitude and business insight as well as the ability to work with diverse teams.
This Senior Analyst is expected to become a liaison with multiple areas, adapt and work in a rapidly changing environment and relate Revenue accounting system processes with business objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assess impact to Revenue Accounting for Internal and External Projects
• Refine and optimize revenue accounting processes to benefit from such projects
• Propose optimal processes and gather approval from Business stakeholders
• Work with business teams to elicit business needs and write user stories portraying the business need
• Ensure well defined acceptance criteria for stories
• Work with developers and Agile product teams to ensure user stories are communicated and understood by team
• Validate acceptance criteria is met, accept User stories and demo to stakeholders
• Communicate project status to the stakeholders through the project lifecycle
• Support the QA team in understanding project requirements and ensure test scripts created by QA team covers all business scenarios
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst/Business Analyst working with IT
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including presentation and the ability to influence
• Strong project management skills and organizational skills
• Ability to work under a constantly changing environment and meet tight deadlines
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working with Mainframe based systems preferred
• Airline experience preferred specially in the area of ticketing
