Enterprise Technology & Risk (ETR) is part of the wider Technology organization, comprised of five primary areas:
Core Infrastructure manages the infrastructure technology solutions to support the Firm's daily operations, enable our businesses to expand to new markets, offer new client products, and comply with evolving regulations.
End User Technology delivers core communication, collaboration and productivity tools across the Firm, including desktop and mobile devices, remote computing solutions, and multimedia services.
Quality Assurance & Production Management provides production management, quality assurance, and end user services for Institutional Securities and Support Services.
Technology & Information Risk oversees programs that protect and enable the business, ensure secure delivery of services to our clients, address the risks presented by an evolving threat landscape, and meet regulatory expectations.
Technology Business Development manages the Firm's strategic relationships with external technology companies.
The role we are seeking a business manager to be part of a dynamic team responsible for the multi-year Workforce strategy (WFS) planning and forecasting, execution tracking and reporting for ETR globally. We work in close cooperation with Business Managers, Finance and IT Senior Management. You will be involved in coordinating the WFS audit efforts, facilitate reporting and collaborate with business managers across the division. You will also participate in building tools to increase process efficiencies and build robust analytics across the broader team.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the WFS plan management and audit, looking to streamline and simplify where possible
  • Manage the WFS aspect of governance around resource planning and onboarding
  • Manage reporting of WFS action execution and progress
  • Facilitate key meetings and ensure required outcomes are generated
  • Handle ad-hoc WFS and related data requests to support the global organization
  • Coordinate office restacks and manage desk usage reporting for the organization globally
Skills required:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to clearly and concisely communicate with internal and external partners cross-divisionally
  • Expert with Excel and creating management presentations in PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact across various seniority levels; be effective as part of a broader team
  • Execution and deliverable focused
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrates significant discretion and respect for confidentiality of sensitive information
Skills desired:
  • Experience with resource budgeting
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies
  • Familiarity with Investment Banking environment
  • An MBA would be advantageous
