I. JOB SUMMARY –

Perform various functions in support the day to day P&D operations providing administrative support to management.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

1. Perform various assignments in accordance with established procedures and under general instruction.
2. Enters a variety of business and statistical source data in PC or mainframe.
3. Processes documents and operates document imaging equipment.
4. Coordinate customer requests with the dispatcher for proper service expedition.
5. Compose and edit general correspondence, reports, etc.
6. Answer telephone calls and properly route customer issues to correct area for resolution.


III. REQUIREMENTS –

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Basic PC knowledge
3. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

IV. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS –

1. Some college preferred
2. Previous experience with pickup and delivery procedures and customer requirements in the area.
