Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Coppell, Texas
Ensure that IT requests are prioritized and dealt with effectively. Provide help and support to both onsite and remote users maintaining effective communications throughout the processor. Ensure all client machines are updated and patched according to schedule and best practice. Ensure the asset database is accurate and up to date. Own and manage work and projects to provision, upgrade and maintain the end user environment. Work with third party suppliers, providing specifications of required work and ensuring work is carried out as required. Assist with internal relocation of teams and employees (will require physical lifting of IT equipment).


At least 5 Years previous experience of supporting 100+ users in a Windows XP/7 environment. Good understanding of Windows networking (DHCP, DNS, IP). Hands-on experience of Active Directly in a Windows 2008/2010 environment
