BASIC FUNCTIONS Responsible for implementing email marketing, merchandising, and creative strategies and tactics to promote and sell the organization's products and services through the Marketo marketing automation platform. This position works as part of team serving the digital marketing needs of a global organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develops and maintains monthly email calendars. • Leverages the Marketing Resource Management platform, Infor MRM, to extract all email requirements, requested dates, assets and list criteria. • List segmentation in Marketo. • Building programs to automate triggered email and messaging to drive lead nurturing. • Manage A/B testing and reporting on results. • Craft, export and distribute email reports to various internal stakeholders and teams. • Test all emails for proper rendering on email clients and mobile devices. • Work to develop email templates for ease of production. • Produce a series of complex monthly e-newsletters. • Participate in email QA steps and can craft workflows for improvement. • Share email best practices and trends with the marketing organization. • Analyze list data to understand the affect filters and programs have on audience reach. • Communicate with and support a global marketing organization of approximately 80 professionals. • Test new functionality when available in the marketing automation platform. • Research answers to technical issues and liaise with vendors as needed. • Ability to design email in Marketo. • Ensure all tracking is in place and accurate for email and Web forms. • Create basic Web pages and Web forms in Marketo. OTHER DUTIES 1. Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education Minimum: Associate Degree in Marketing, OR equivalent work experience. Experience Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of related experience. Preferred Experience: • Knowledge and experience using an ESP or Marketo. • Knowledge of ticketing systems. Tools: • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Marketo or similar marketing automation platform. • Infor MRM or similar project management/marketing resource management tool. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Preferred: • Ability to effectively work as part of a team. • Ability to verbally relay concepts, goals, project plans to all parties involved in the execution of said plans. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Detail oriented with the ability to spot errors in written design templates. • Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. • Flexible and responsive to change. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS • Minimal local travel.
