Full Time

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Training Manager to develop an effective quality monitoring program
  • Provide QA training to the Assessors, Monitors, and the QA staff in order that quality actions are incorporated into their daily practice
  • Collect data related to assessments and assessment outcomes
  • Participate in the development of project goals and objectives, and monitoring achievement of those goals
  • Examine cases at random for completeness, accuracy and consistency
  • Examine data for outliers and research such cases
  • Develop/complete reports that track and trend activities/outcomes
  • Acts as an advisor to staff on all QA and Compliance issues related to the OPWDD Assessment project.
  • Participate in departmental administrative tasks related to handling and processing complaint and fair hearing requests
  • Travel is required
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the QA and Training Manager
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, education, health or social service field required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 1 year direct experience working with developmentally disabled required
  • 2+ years previous work experience in a management or quality assurance position in health or human services field required
  • Medicaid experience preferred
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills; detail and solution oriented
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Some travel may be required
  • Bilingual candiates preferred
