Customer Service Representative II

3-5 years Experience in role. Position is responsible for answering incoming calls from providers and members while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity with minimum downtime. Job Responsibilities are to resolve basic types of customer service inquiries including: benefits, eligibility, member material requests, provider look - up and authorization calls. May also need to locate Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and participate in proactive outbound call program (i.e., welcome calls) to ensure customer satisfaction, when applicable. Must be able to quickly and accurately identify and assess individual provider and member needs and take appropriate action to satisfy those needs, solve problems systematically, use sound business judgment, and follow through on commitments. Need to be able to respond to customers in a polite and courteous manner, especially in stressful situations, project patience, empathy, caring, and sincerity in voice tone and words, establish rapport over the phone. -
