Technician will work with engineers on the Alternative Preservation project, performing equipment trials in the pilot plant.
Project goals are:
1. Develop process to manufacture non-preserved products on current CSD lines
2Job Description:
Run pilot plant tests with R&D engineers and scientists. Main tasks are:
- Set-up equipment for beverage processing tests (pipes, pumps, tanks, fillers)
- Weigh ingredients and mix batches
- Operate pasteurizers and fillers (via HMI screens)
- Follow all pilot plant SOPs and R&D test plans
- Conduct measurements and collect data
- Assist with sample collection
- Clean equipment before & after tests

Required Skill Set:
Minimum education: High school degree
Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or pilot plant technician role
Ability to operate HMI and control panels
Knowledge of how to set-up/take down food processing equipment (pipes, pumps, tanks, etc)
Capable of following written and verbal instructions
Ability to multitask, well-organized and good time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Courteous and willing to help others. Develop non-thermal process to replace traditional thermal process for variety of products
