Provide guidance and assistance to internal customers, providers, claimants, and policyholders on inquiries and problems and explains processing procedures, etc.Identify and resolves discrepancies in transactions and documents reviewed; escalates difficult or questionable transactions to Supervisor for assistance in resolution. Maintain relationships with internal and/or external customers and providers to ensure timely processing of transactions; responds to customer/provider inquiries and creates and issues provider correspondence.May communicate with case managers, attorneys, and others to gather necessary information in order to complete transactions. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills needed in order to provide supervisor customer service to internal customers, providers, claimants and policyholders. Proven analytical skills. Broad working knowledge of credit policies and accounts payable preferred. General knowledge of medical terminology and/or medical coding preferred. Licensing may be required in some states. 1. Provides guidance and assistance to internal customers, providers, claimants, and/or policyholders on inquiries and problems and explains processing procedures, etc. 2. Uses automated systems to review a high volume of documents, transactions, and/or bills for payment; ensures accuracy and initiates processing 3. Identifies and resolves discrepancies in transactions/documents reviewed. Refers difficult or questionable transactions to Supervisor for assistance in resolution. 4. Maintains appropriate transaction records and generates activity reports. 5. Maintains relationships with internal and/or external customers and providers to ensure timely processing of transactions. Responds to customer/provider inquiries and creates and issues provider correspondence. 6. May communicate with case managers, attorneys, and others to gather necessary information in order to complete transactions. 7. May perform limited office support functions as assigned. 
Hours: 6AM-9:30AM start time, 8 hour day, 30 min lunch  37.5 hours-40 hours/week. Flex start time. Schedule needs to be consistent. While training, the schedule will be prefixed.
