A Major Financial Firm located in Jacksonville, FL has an immediate contract opportunity for a Summer Internship Analyst.

Lender Finance Company develops business solutions for small businesses and middle market companies for the acquisition of equipment and value-added services. It creates tailored technology and equipment financing and leasing programs for manufacturers, distributors, resellers, dealers, systems integrators and franchisors that are designed to help them increase their top and bottom line performance. It also acquires finance portfolios in its core markets: technology, office imaging, healthcare, industrial and franchise finance. Through these programs, Company provides a variety of financing and value-added services, from invoicing to asset disposition, customized to their customers' needs.

General Job Summary
The Lender Finance Internship program is a rotational 2-3 month program designed for college Juniors/Seniors to learn about our business and the various functions including; Business Development, Underwriting, Client Support/Retention, Compliance, Marketing and Reporting/Analytics.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare written and analytical reports
• Research, analyze and evaluate customer/client credit
• Conduct product, market and client research
• Update and maintain databases
• Assist with business development
• Review cash flows of current and potential clients
• Support Marketing with campaigns and lead generation
• Assist with the management of client accounts and offer financial solutions
• Support the underwriting process for new and existing clients
• Review spreads and analyze income statements
• Assist with solving client issues to resolution
• Interact with all levels of management and clients
• Apply financial acumen and analytical skills to support a variety of projects as required by Clients/Customers and Senior Management
• Work with senior management on business specific projects
• Prioritize workloads/deadlines to meet clients' needs

Education & Experience:
• Junior or Senior with a field of study in (Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance)
• Ability to understand and analyze financial statements
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Advanced PC skills required
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
