Finance Change is a central and global team of change professionals responsible for leading and delivering cross functional global change programs for Finance and our stakeholders. The Finance Change function supports the DB strategy against a diversified portfolio of projects of a regulatory, efficiency, control improvement, and business funded nature. The Finance Change service offering includes specialist capabilities with respect to business analysis, program management, process, change adoption and test management.

Finance Change has primary focus of all major strategic and regulatory change related to the Global Markets, Asset Management, and Global Transaction Banking finance functions.

• We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst role to deliver expert business analysis knowledge to the projects and programs the individual has been assigned to.

• The Business Analyst's prime responsibility is to ensure that the requirements of the business are properly identified, documented and implemented within a structured project and program environment, as well as to effectively support the changes required by the business.

• The Business Analyst will have responsibility for identifying and establishing business relations, to facilitate business decisions in the organisations best interest.

The role may involve managing, leading or mentoring other Business Analysts, depending on the complexity of the projects or programs the Business Analyst is assigned to


Focus on facilitating the identification, documentation, communication and commitment to business requirements.
 To provide a bridge between the business and project organizations by facilitating the identification, documentation and quality assurance of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Financials:

 Clearly defined business case
 Implementation budget defined and known
 Understanding of Bank (IHC) Regulatory reporting Requirements
 Strong Accounting Background

Non-Financial:

 To deliver projects where the project characteristics are as follows:
 Benefits Management
 Benefit management plan (amount and timescales) is relatively firm and approved
 Extensive experience working for a complex, global financial institution

Business Case Development:

 Supports the identification and development of business case documentation, including development of both tangible and non-tangible benefits models
 Translates the benefits plan and business case into specific project objectives with the Support of the Project/Program Manager.

Analysis and Solution Definition:

 Facilitates the development of business requirements through discussions, workshops and interviews of business subject matter experts
 Understands the organizations direction, structure, and requirements
 Analyses the organizations industry and competitive position
 Obtains, documents and analyses required information and data against the current organizational standard
 Prepares requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations
 Supports the development of the project initiation document and business blueprint along with the Sponsor and Project Manager.

Technical Recommendation and Testing:

 Understands and can communicate the technical standards appropriate to the business requirements under investigation and advise on the suitability of proposed solutions
 Understands technical design specifications
 Defines test conditions
 Develops accurate and complete user and business acceptance test plans
 Conducts testing according to plan
 Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.

Project Execution:

 Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
 Takes input from the Project Manager and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback
 Reviews, assesses and advises on project changes especially where they impact agreed requirements, benefits or business cases
 Understands the necessity of the organizations project and analysis standards and applies them consistently
 Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas and facilitates them
 On complex projects and programs, the Senior Business Analyst will identify, shape, scope and lead all analysis work streams and take responsibility for coordinating their effective delivery
 Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively
 Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project
 Supports and facilitates the quality assurance activities of the project where they relate to business requirements, benefits or business case management
 To utilize best practice tools and techniques, to aid communication and understanding, ensuring project documentation is fit for purpose
 Initiates and facilitates the close-out, project review and post implementation review of the project in conjunction with the Project/Program Manager.
