Global Financial Firm located in Montreal, QC has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager.

The Client's project management team seeks a motivated project management professional to fill a multifaceted project management and PMO role. Client maintains, distributes, and reports on Institutional Securities trading data. It is also responsible for developing and supporting applications for middle-office cash processing that facilitate straight-through processing and providing client allocation tools.

The Client project management office collaborates with technology project owners to coordinate plans, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure central technology process and reporting requirements are met. Team members also work with department heads to manage budget process tasks as they pertain to project cost and Client requirements.

The scope of the role necessitates a proactive candidate who is diligent, comfortable dealing with large volumes of data, and thrives in an environment of change.

Role responsibilities will include:
- Creating, tracking, and updating project plans
- Communicating with development teams and stakeholders on project related issues, status, and metrics
- Ensuring project compliance with Brokerage Technology PLC policy
- Generating project status reports
- Monitoring project financials and resource utilization
- Escalation of project issues/risks and changes to RAG statuses
- Working with other project managers to ensure accurate and consistent communication across the overall portfolio

Technical skills:
- 3-5 years' experience in Project Management.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite of applications, particularly MS Project and MS Excel
- Experience with Client PPM, SharePoint and JIRA is preferred
