We are looking for someone who is an expert in PowerPoint in terms of building slides with transitions and has experience integrating music/videos into the presentation. We're specifically targeting an individual who has worked at an agency with financial services firms as clients. We're also seeking someone creative; one who is able to think outside-the-box.

Lead Designer

This role will support a front-office chief-of-staff team in the Consumer business. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in financial services and a deep understanding of data visualization and infographics. We're looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.


Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the team to simplify and transfer data into compelling visual formats
• Build and enhance PowerPoint slides with messages for C-Level communication (e.g., Business reviews, investment decks, Board of Director presentations)
• Develop and format internal employee communications (e.g., town hall presentations and onboarding materials)
• Produce brochures, large-format print collateral and invitations
• Other ad-hoc projects as requested by the CEO and/or the Chief-of-Staff
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
• Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval


Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree; MFA preferred
• 3+ years of working with financial services clients
• Deep knowledge/experience in infographics and data visualization
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledgeable in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, video codecs and compressions
• Versatile in PowerPoint – Enterprise level Themes, Master, Animation, Transitions (Windows environment – Keynote not applicable)
• Adaptive design eye and skill
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
• Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with other technology such as SharePoint; we are not a Mac environment
