Rotating shifts 1st - 7am -3pm , 2nd -3pm -11pm, 3rd - 11pm - 7am Working Environment: Production/Lab Dress Code: Plant PPE will be required and provided. Candidate will have to provide their own steel toed boots Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1) Analytical testing for routine analysis of in-process and final product testing, NIR calibration development and maintenance, and support of trials and experiments. Entry of data into databases and communication of results verbally or in writing as required. Communicating specification results to internal customers. Release of product meeting prescribed guidelines. Ability to work independently. Microsoft Office Suite experience. Ability to adapt and learn in a changing work environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written. 2) Performance of calibration checks, preventative maintenance tasks, and simple repair to analytical instrumentation.Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of food safety, safety, quality, productivity, and cost. 3)Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned such as; additional sampling and testing as requested, maintaining the food safety management system, solution preparation, sensory preparation, and cleaning of lab areas. Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Required Qualification: Associate?s Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field with minimum 1 year experience working within a laboratory or food manufacturing environment. OR HS Diploma/GED with minimum 3 years? experience working within a laboratory or food manufacturing environment. Ability to adapt and learn in a changing work environment.
