Requirements:
• Agile/scrum master experience is mandatory for this role.
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or other related field, or equivalent year work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in IT, critical infrastructure, intelligence, and/or cybersecurity information security
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Generally advanced understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Ability to function and manage in a matrixed environment
• At least 3 years of experience in managing initiatives with agile methodologies, including experience as a scrum master
• Experience with project management software to manage tasks and other project activities
• Ability to travel up to 10% to meet the needs of the business

Desired:
• M.S., M.A., or M.B.A. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent
• Demonstrated problem analysis and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate and convey complex technical security-related concepts to business and technology teams

Job Description:
As a Cybersecurity Project Manager in the Mission-Critical Cyber Protection team, you will coordinate the team's efforts to collaborate with other Cybersecurity groups, Information Technology partners, and business experts to identify threats to client's key cyber-assets. You will also manage the execution of innovative strategies to better protect those assets, manage the deployment of technologies and processes to put those strategies into action, and ensure that the team evaluates the technologies and processes to demonstrate that improvements have been made. The Mission-Critical Cyber Protect is utilizing agile methodologies and techniques to manage its work. You will serve as the scrum master for the team, ensuring that daily commitments are appropriate and useful in advancing team progress toward our goals. You will mentor other team members as they learn agile development techniques. You should be familiar with collaborative, team-oriented technologies for communicating and tracking progress. You will also be expected to report frequently on progress toward goals to the senior manager leading the team, as well as developing metrics to support that reporting. You will be contributing to a rapidly growing team, with extensive leadership support, to strategically manage risk and proactively adapt to evolving threats and business needs. A dynamic team concept has also been implemented, in which members of other Cybersecurity teams are attached for short periods of time to achieve specific goals. You will be managing to addition or subtraction of dynamic team members as needed. You may also be asked to manage initiatives to design, develop, and implement technical solutions to meet the challenges presented by adversaries seeking to attack client's systems and compromise client's data. San Francisco is strongly preferred as the location for this role but other Bay Area locations can be considered.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Gathering, defining, and documenting project requirements, using agile methodologies.
• Defining and communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all team members.
• Obtaining and defining team staffing requirements.
• Independently planning all associated work to meet project goals.
• Developing metrics, procedures, objectives, and methods to assess project progress while utilizing quality objectives.
• Conducting project kick-off meetings.
• Serving as the agile scrum master for the team.
• Conducting daily huddle meetings for team members.
• Planning, communicating, and executing sprints for specific projects or initiatives.
• Recording, tracking, and communicating risks, issues, changes, and status to the Senior Manager of the Mission-Critical Cyber Protection team.
• Assessing project performance and implanting changes as necessary to ensure that projects and initiatives are meeting objectives.
• Coordinating any required contract work within defined client standards.
• Provides peer review and support for organizational deliverables.
