Sign Language Interpreter

Location: Hoboken, New Jersey
We are seeking a staff interpreter to assist employees who are deaf or hard of hearing. This interpreter would primarily support one employee, but at times will be required to interpret in larger corporate settings.

Hours: Typically 10AM - 4:30PM, may be required to stay later

• Interpret and/or transliterate 1:1 for an employee on a daily basis
• Accompany employee to meetings, in-office events, etc.
• Interpret for interviews, company-wide meetings, and other company events
• Follow office policies and procedures
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to listen to, understand, translate, and sign corporate and technical communications accurately
• Available regular working hours, Monday through Friday, as well as during corporate events

• Bachelor's Degree
• Fluent in both ASL and English
• Certification or training in American Sign Language
• Completion of an accredited interpreter training program, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a diverse/technical vocabulary
