Shift: day shift 5:30am to 5:30pm and nights 5:30pm to 5:30am. rotate 3 days (Day or Night) and 4 days (2 Day and 2 Night) weekly, alternating 36 hours and 48 hours.


High school diploma or GED. Computer skills:
-Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office products.
-Knowledge of or ability to learn operating with PLC (computer controlled) interfaces

Ability to understand and work with analytical and mechanical equipment (e.g., Basic test methods, performing basic maintenance on Physical Vapor Deposition equipment).
2+ years experience in production operations.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach and lift with hands and arms and to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. The employee is required to ascend/descend ladders or steps. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Execution of daily area activities to ensure production objectives are met in a safe and timely manner.

These activities include:
Computer controlled (PLC) operations to produce Metalized Film (Coater and Metalizer). All field operations. Roll unloading and loading operations. Ensure tasks to clean equipment are carried out effectively Ensure materials are organized and tracked correctly in the building Perform Quality Control measures for each process Special procedures, for example: trailer movements, equipment lock-outs, operating heavy equipment (fork truck), Review performance losses (lost time) and process anomalies with Supervisor. Assist in achieving sites financial targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Must have the ability and initiative to identify equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot equipment Technicians are part of a self managing team where every Technician is responsible for completion of the required tasks. Housekeeping and 5S sustainability. Other duties as directed by Supervision. Support and adhere to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care and OSHA VPP initiatives by protecting the environment, health, safety and security of our employees, contractors, carriers, distributors, visitors, customers and neighbors.

Be knowledgeable of and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety practices including but not limited to: manage waste movements according to satellite and/or 90-day accumulation requirements, inspect air contaminant sources and institute corrective action for out-of-spec conditions, prevent releases into the sewer and/or stormwater systems by following BMPs (best management practices), activate Company emergency response procedures in case of spills or other emergencies.
