Responsible for contributing in the In Building RF Design of the regional wireless network. Responsibilities include: creating In Building Projects within their geographic area/team responsibility; working with the performance team to understand area and issues within his/her sector; and working with System Performance counterpart to understand issues and help reduce Lost Calls, Ineffective Attempts and capacity offload. Other responsibilities include: ; performing testing to evaluate search area candidate as necessary; preparing FCC/FAA and FAS submissions in a timely manner; performing radio engineering evaluation for system planning and site acquisition; beginning to identify location specific needs for new cells taking baseline, performance, capacity, and population into consideration; and evaluating coverage problems and requirements for coverage cells. Be able to develop and review designs, work with customers and vendors, create a scope of work, input data in Atoll, FUZE and Site Tracker databases, walk In Building locations, review bids and award projects for vendor. Excellent customer service skills needed. BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry. General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and/or technologies: Voice/Data cells infrastructure including: Ericsson, Nokia, Client, Spidercloud and various DAS providers. Ability to operate test equipment including: walk collection devices, scanners, spectrum analyzers and understand RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data.Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field for 4G and 5G technology. Proficient in office computer applications: Google Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Atoll, Sitetracker and FUZE. 5 to 7 years of experience.
