This position reports directly to the LPPH&C Practice Manager as well as the Clinical Directors of the STAR Center and the HALP Clinic. Under the supervision of the Practice Manager and guided by policies and procedures of LPPH&C, the Clinic Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily operations of the HALP Clinic and STAR Center. Duties broadly consist of: coordinating scheduling and registration, coordinating and tracking completion of rating scales sent to patients, families, and teachers, referral assistance and coordination, and working with other LPPH&C clinical operations staff who support the STAR Center and HALP Clinic.

The Clinic Coordinator will also assist with managing clinic space, ordering supplies, assisting with MyChart patient portal support, assisting clinicians in setting up treatment group rooms, greeting families as they arrive for services, and performing other duties as assigned. They are required to understand the Medical Group structure and how LPPH&C is contracted with insurances.

The Clinic Coordinator will meet with practice leadership regularly to foster a close, collaboration; review metrics, discuss updates to protocols, address issues, communicate changes in the practice and make suggestions for improving workflow. S/he will be required to adapt to new workflows and policies as it relates to the growth of the STAR Center and HALP Clinic. Incumbent will need to escalate issues to practice management for successful resolution, and must adhere to AIDET and PRIDE standards.
