Collaborate with business units to gather and document technical requirements
Create critical system operational and procedural documentation
Satisfy service requests within the defined SLA
Monitor and manage incident and service request queues through resolution
Receives work assignments through the "ticketing system” or from, Lead Administrators or management.
Performs server hardware/software installation and maintenance tasks for on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
Performs advanced problem identification and resolution, performance monitoring and capacity planning functions for server infrastructure.
Required to provide on-call support during off-duty hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays on a scheduled/rotating basis.
Works on moderate to complex installation and maintenance tasks with minimal guidance and direction from Lead Administrators or management.
Works autonomously on moderate to more complex installation, maintenance and support tasks.
Provides technical direction and assistance to other team members as required.
Plays a role in achieving team results and works towards achieving team goals and objectives with minimal direction.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server OS and/or Storage Area Networks.
Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and Azure virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a big plus.
Experience administering and supporting cloud infrastructures.
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot infrastructure problems.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
