Mortgage Closing Member Service Rep

Summary:
The Mortgage Department has an opening for a full time Mortgage Closing Representative. If you enjoy real estate and want to learn the mortgage closing loan process from
beginning to end while working with a great team in a fast-paced environment, this is the position for you.

Daily requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for pre-closing Loan Quality Initiative requirements, credit analysis and quality control of the loan information
• Timely and accurate closing and funding of our mortgage loans in all 50 states, using the Mortgage Cadence LFC system
• Serve in a backup role for initial member contact via incoming phone calls and for taking applications through our Mortgage Cadence origination system
• Representing the Mortgage Department in various Credit Union days, seminars and other special projects as directed by the management staff of the Mortgage Department
• Meeting deadlines and assisting with production goals
• Assuring work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while ensuring security and confidentiality on all account information and documents
• Must be a team player and must be able to work under deadlines and be able to multi-task with little supervision

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED is required
• Thorough knowledge of Client, NCUA and AAFCU Mortgage Lending Guidelines is preferred, and Residential Mortgage Closing and Funding experience is a plus
• Good working knowledge of various PC software including Desktop Underwriting, Mortgage Cadence, Episys, MS Excel, and MS Word is strongly recommended
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently is a plus
• Previous mortgage lending experience preferred
• Above-average interpersonal and communication skills and professional telephone manners
• Strong organizational skills and capacity for attention to detail
• Must work well under deadlines and high volume pressure
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• Well organized, quick learner and adapt well to change
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Satisfactory work performance and attendance are required
• Candidates will be required to pass applicable pre-hire compliance checks
• Must have acceptable credit history, which will be verified
