Critical Key requirements
  • Required a minimal of seven plus years of on hand PeopleSoft HCM experience
·Must have a solid experience in both Pension and Time Keeping application.
  • Current experience need to have following exposure in PUM upgrade, PeopleSoft v9.2 w/10g and 11g for PeopleTools.
  • Prefer to have government compliance and/or audit experience will be a plus
  • Verifiable customer reference and contact for work related experience

SUMMARY 
 
The PeopleSoft HCM Pension & Time Keeping Group is seeking two temporary consultants to perform technical development of various pension requirements that will encompass new programs, retrofit current processes, and enhance existing codes for the implementation of the pension phase two project.  Since the pension phase one project went live a few months ago, it is critical that these consultants work closely with both functional, and technical, teams to satisfy phase two's technical requirements and make sure they work in full conjunction with the current pension business processes.
 
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Verify user business/technical requirements
  2. Perform analysis of business processes and system requirements, and develop the best technical solution possible
  3. Design the technical solution to translate business requirements and processes into well-documented technical specifications
  4. Build programs, processes, and objects that support the technical solutions of the business need
  5. Unit test the technical application to confirm results and functionality
  6. System test the process to confirm module impact to the rest of the system
  7. Adhere to client standards by documenting all results of the Technical Design, and Unit Test Plans, in a professional and timely manner
  8. Observe the Standard Project Development Life Cycle approach
  9. Create all necessary change control requirements to migrate all the affected objects from one environment to another
  10. Actively participate in the implementation of all processes needed for the pension phase two project
  11. Support, and resolve, any post-implementation issues that may arise
  12. Knowledge transfer to client
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Minimum of seven years PeopleSoft technical application development tools, and components, experience to include:
    • PeopleTools (minimum 8.54)
    • Application Engine
    • PeopleCode
    • Application Packages
    • Application Messaging
    • Component Interface
    • Integration Broker
    • Application and Web Servers
    • COBOL
    • SQR
    • SQL
    • Query
    • Workflow
    • Tracing and debugging various PeopleSoft process types
  • PeopleSoft version (9.2 or higher) experience preferably with the Pension Administration and Time and Labor Module involving Calculations, Payments, Rules, and Function Results for pension, TimeAdmin, rule create and T&L configuration.
  • Proficiency in Oracle database (11g or higher) and the use of different SQL editor utilities
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
