BMO Operations Manager

Large Company has a Contract Opportunity in Boston, MA

Manager works in the BMO within application development. Onsite work in Boston, may not have to be there every day. If someone is not local, can do a video interview. Potential to convert to perm. Will be working 37.5 hrs/week (standard workweek of the team).

Will help provide support to one of domain leads.

Domain lead is going undergoing a rearchitect of domain platform.

There are audits to be addressed and board meetings to be prepared for.

Will be keeping track of all this work, and helping domain lead prioritize this work.

Needs to be able to envision on how they are going to take on the work to help the domain manager.

Needs to follow through with ppl to ensure they complete the tasks that were delegated to them.

There are different types of communications that need to be written, so need to know appropriate content, and needs to be able to write to all levels.

Software development process understanding is more important (SDLC experience) than exp in the financial services industry.

Financial planning and budgeting is not high priority.

Needs to be a good listener, a good people person, and needs to have strong communication skills.

Trade processing not mandatory because main focus of this role is helping the domain manager manage the workload.

Job Titles that would work: Operations Manage, Project Coordinator, jr Project Manager.

Process experience and writing and communication would be good.

Familiar with Agile will be helpful.

Manager's Background (she did this role before):

Does not have a technical background.

Really organized.

Started in customer support, moved into integrations and product management, now PMP was a project manager for awhile, ran governance compliance program.

• Draft internal communications from Domain Lead to audiences of varying levels
• Aid in preparation of agenda and content for Board of Managers meetings
• Research questions raised by Board of Managers
• Aid in preparation of agenda and content for participation in ITP and AD Solutions Town Halls
• Aid in preparation of content for participation in AD Town Halls
