The Model Risk Function - Change Team is responsible for providing project management services across the portfolio of DB models as well as a number of regulatory initiatives in the US with significant model risk components (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, CCAR, S3, FRTB, etc.). The team operates in a particular challenging environment, delivering top priority change initiatives within Risk and involving cross-divisional teams including Trading, Finance, Market & Liquidity Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Global Model Validation and Governance, and Global Technology.


In general, the Change Management team is looking for motivated individual, who are keen to get involved in MRC. Responsibilities includes:
 Ability to own and self-manage multiple work-streams within the Programme and associated deliverables
 Clear communicator who can be self-sufficient and can quickly demonstrate senior stakeholder management skills and single-handedly run meetings & produce top-quality documentation tailored for the MD-level stakeholders and regulators
 Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders / delivery teams and manage risks / issues / dependencies with keen eye for risk
 Having a 'healthy dose' of SME / business skills in the risk management areas and communicate at a detailed level with subject matter experts (SME's)
 Solid understanding of quantitative aspects of risk management and model risk, as well as IT infrastructure supporting the model risk management and control processes
 Delivering PM documentation to an exceptionally high standard e.g. SteerCo presentations, project plans at both high and detailed levels, status update reports, reports that go to central PMO teams where required, etc.
 Hands-on involvement in all areas of a project life cycle e.g. analysis, design, UAT testing, providing training, implementation
 Driving prioritisation and effort estimation decisions
 Managing conflicts and guiding decision-making process

Specifics: Model Risk Change projects cover a number of high-profile, multi-year risk initiative with board-level visibility while satisfying regulatory requirements. Common objectives are delivery of model risk management framework, governance and controls while ensuring compliance with DB Model Risk Governance policies and remediation of key gaps to meet target state requirements of the FRB / OCC SR11-07 guidance on model risk management
