Job Description


The client and the Office of Payroll Administration (OPA) has a vacancy for a Sr. Taleo PeopleSoft Functional Analyst to support ongoing Taleo implementation and production maintenance. Under the direction of the Analyst Manager, the Sr. Taleo PeopleSoft Functional Analyst shall have the primary responsibility of ensuring the quality of the software application to meet the City's functional and technical requirements and enable client to operate and maintain the application in a cost effective manner. The Sr. Taleo PeopleSoft Functional Analyst will be responsible for transition from PeopleSoft eHire to Oracle Taleo. Responsibilities also include functional/data analysis, creation and review of requirements, configuration and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work in a functional/technical capacity with a good understanding of Taleo recruiting business process and PeopleSoft eHire/Candidate Gateway/TAM. Collaborate with release teams to provide analysis, design, development, and testing guidance. Facilitate training sessions and end user support, business processes re-engineering and delivery of all change management activities.


Preferred Skills
• Previous experience as a Taleo-PeopleSoft recruitment integration analyst on 2+ implementations and/or maintenance projects.
• Extensive experience working with multiple versions of Oracle Taleo.
• Extensive experience working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM. Recruiting, Talent Acquisition Management, and Workforce Administration modules including HCM v 9.2 and PeopleSoft Tools v 8.54.
• Experience with data mapping between Taleo Recruiting and PeopleSoft HCM solutions.
• Administration and configuration of Recruiting & Transitions/Onboarding.
• Experience working on Recruiting & Onboarding modules v 15.A.
• Experience working on Taleo Connect Client v 14B or higher.
• Conducting Taleo Tool demonstrations, workshops, analysis and evaluation ofTaleo recruiting features.
• Knowledge of Smart Org (OLF, User Type, User Account, Network Data).
• Knowledge of Core Recruitment (Forms and Fields, CSW, List Format, Message Templates, Requisition Templates).
• Knowledge of Evaluation Management (Questions/Skills, Rating, Questionnaire).
• Full life-cycle support including requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, documenting design, test planning and execution, training strategy, and overall implementation planning.
• Ability to write comprehensive functional design specifications including specifications for integrating Taleo Recruiting with PeopleSoft HCM and multiple external systems.
• Ability to prepare functional test plans and Taleo/PeopleSoft integration test plans to facilitate users during UAT.
• Proven proficiency with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data, troubleshooting, and testing/validating source system data.
• Excellent writing skills including experience with creating functional specifications, design and configuration documents, training materials, test scripts, etc.
• Excellent communication including demonstrated experience with group/committee presentations and working and/or leading with staff and management.
